The general objective of the project is to restore, consolidate, equip and equip the Hagiescu myriste ethnography museum, in order to boost and sustainably capitalise on the local cultural heritage. The aim of this project is to boost the local urban development of the locality (Caracal Municipality, Olt County, South-West Oltenia Region – territory targeted by SUERD), by preserving, protecting, promoting and developing cultural heritage, as a result of the restoration, consolidation, equipping and equipping of the Hagiescu myriste ethnography museum, which is classified as a historical monument of local importance – (OT-II-m-B-08739, Casa Hagiescu – miriste, sf. Sec. XIX), located in the central area of Caracal Municipality, Olt County, South-West Oltenia region (territory targeted by SUERD), and being in the protection radius of a ranked urban ensemble (IT-II-a-B-08753) according to the List of Historical Monuments of Olt County, which consists of the streets of the Marului – Iancu Jianu – Plevnei – Mieilor – Agnita Botorca, the buildings on both sides of the streets. The present objective is framed as a class B architectural historical monument – “House Hagiescu Myriste, Today Museum of Ethnography”, which appears in the List of historical monuments from local cultural heritage in urban environment, at position 343, code LMI OT-II-m-B-08739, under the name “House Hagiescu miriste, today the Museum of Ethnography”, dated from Saint. Sec.XIX, located in Str. B.P. Hasdeu nr 2, Caracal Municipality, Olt County, South-West Oltenia Region (EURDS territory). The general objective is aimed at promoting the efficient use of cultural resources in the area below the territory covered by the EUSRD. The present project ensures the monitoring of the number of heritage objectives preserved, protected, promoted and developed, as well as the number of visitors, after the intervention on the heritage objective that benefits from support, in order to sustainably boost and capitalise on the local development of the local cultural heritage. Through the general objective, the specific objectives, the proposed activities and the expected results, the project is in line with the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region, in conjunction with EUSDR (Olt County, Caracal Municipality) and with the specific objective of investment priority 5.1 – Preserving, protecting, promoting and developing natural and cultural heritage, under Priority Axis 5 – Improvement of the urban environment and conservation, protection and sustainable valorisation of cultural heritage, within the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020.
