The general objective of the project is to improve the educational and teaching conditions for children and staff of the Magic Palace Garden, by thermal rehabilitation and the adoption of measures to increase the energy efficiency of the related building after the implementation of the project. The increase of energy efficiency in the public building targeted by the project will lead to the reduction of energy consumption, resulting in the reduction of greenhouse emissions. At the same time, improving the energy efficiency of the public building not only reduces energy consumption and, subsequently, energy costs, but also contributes to improving its aesthetic aspect and provides healthier education conditions for children and staff of the institution. Thus, it is noted that the overall objective of the project is fully consistent with the objectives of Priority Axis 3 of ROP 2014-2020. Specific objectives of the project The specific objectives are: Increase the energy performance of the Enchanted Palace Garden, by carrying out intervention works that will lead to an annual primary energy saving of 4.06 % (from 263469.58 kWh/year to 252762.36 kWh/year) after the implementation of the project. In order to achieve the specific and implicit objective of the general objective, we propose thermal rehabilitation of the building related to the Magic Palace Garden, as well as interior and exterior repairs and modernisation. The proposed works will not affect the resistance structure and the stability of the construction. By reaching this specific objective of the project we can see how it directly leads to the achievement of the general objective and implicitly responds to the objectives of Priority Axis 3 Supporting the transition towards a low carbon economy, Investment Priority 3.1 Supporting energy efficiency, intelligent energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructures, including public buildings, and housing sector, Operation B Public Buildings. The specific objective of the operation is to increase energy efficiency in residential buildings, public buildings and public lighting systems, especially those who record high energy consumption, and education units are among the largest energy consumers in the public buildings sector. Thus, this project is closely related to this objective, contributing implicitly to its operationalisation. In the alternative, the project meets the general objective of ROP 2014-2020 in terms of improving the living conditions of local and regional communities, rehabilitation of residential and non-residential buildings, ensuring a sustainable development of the local community, thus able to manage efficiently the available energy resources. From the perspective of ROP 2014-2020, buildings
