The general objective of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020 is to increase economic competitiveness and improve the living conditions of local and regional communities by supporting the development of the business environment, infrastructure conditions and services, ensuring and sustainable development of the regions, capable of efficiently managing resources, capitalising on their potential for innovation and assimilation of technological progress. The general objective of the project is to reduce the carbon emissions generated by motorised road transport in Sanana. The proposed investment will thus contribute to the achievement of the thematic objective pursued under the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, Priority Axis 3, namely the transition to a low carbon economy. The project is also based on the achievement of the specific objective of investment priority 3.2 which is to reduce carbon emissions in urban areas based on sustainable urban mobility plans.
