The general objective of the project is to transform Santana into an area of cultural tourism interest, thus contributing to the diversification of economic sectors. In this respect, the implementation of this project will contribute both to the achievement of the general objective of the Regional Operational Programme to boost local development by preserving, protecting, promoting and developing the natural and cultural heritage and cultural identity. The program of conservation and revitalisation of the Haus urbarial building aims to achieve the following specific objectives regarding its protection and valorisation, which is part of the cultural heritage in Romania: — the development of communities by increasing the touristic and investment attractiveness of cities and regions, due to the preservation, restoration and valorisation of the cultural and natural heritage; — preservation and valorisation of intangible heritage in order to strengthen the cultural identity of ethnic and cultural minorities, including the Roma population. — strengthening bilateral relations between cultural operators in Romania and those in the Member States regarding cultural heritage. On the accessibility of the public to the material and intangible values that constitute the national heritage. The work is part of the general objective of the program to protect and preserve the cultural and natural heritage for future generations and facilitate access to heritage for the general public. The project proposes to: — restoration, conservation and enhancement of the Urbarialhaus building; — preservation of mobile cultural heritage; through the objects of the museum that are part of the cultural heritage of the locality; creation and development of museums and cultural spaces. by creating a museum that will exhibit specific and traditional elements of the area; thus, through the specific objectives and results pursued within this program, the restoration of this building will contribute to the preservation of the cultural and natural heritage for future generations and will increase the accessibility of the public to the material and intangible values that constitute the national heritage.
