“TRANSYLVANIA NORTH REGIONAL ROUTE; THE APUSENI ROAD: REHABILITATION AND MODERNISATION OF DJ764A; DJ108J, Ltotala = 43.375 KM, BIHOR JUDEUL”

The general objective of the project is to improve the accessibility of the Apuseni Mountains area and the mobility of the population, goods and services in the area, in order to develop the sustainable economic development of the area in the vicinity of the TEN-T network. The overall objective of the project contributes to the achievement of the objective of Priority Axis 6. Improving road infrastructure of regional importance, as the rehabilitation of this route will facilitate the mobility of people and goods, will reduce the costs of transporting goods and passengers, improve access to the regional market, increase the efficiency of economic activities, save energy and time, creating the necessary conditions for expanding trade and implicitly productive investments in the area of strategic interest covered by the Apuseni Mountains area. The rehabilitation of the two road sectors will contribute to the development of transport networks, facilitating interregional cooperation. The rehabilitation of all these roads increases the economic, social and cultural importance of the entire area covered by the Apuseni Mountains. The project responds to the objective of Priority Axis 6 of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020 because it provides for the indirect connection of the above mentioned route to the TEN-T network through the municipality of Beius and with the national road DN 76.
