General objective of the project "Modernisation Works Bd. 21 December 1989: Making public transport lanes – Stage 1 (including infrastructure works, public space planning, traffic lights, public lighting and urban furniture)" is to ensure an efficient public passenger transport service and improve the conditions for the use of non-motorised modes of transport, in order to reduce the number of journeys by private transport (cars) and reduce CO2-equivalent emissions from transport, based on the urban mobility plan.
