The overall objective of the project is to: increasing the relevance of the education of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj Napoca, upgrading the university educational infrastructure for nutrition and animal pathology so that the training of the university graduates is in direct relationship with the labor market and competitive economic sectors. The implementation of this project will create a teaching and practice base that will meet the latest standards in the fields covered by the faculties of our university: biotechnologies and veterinary medicine. In recent years, many advances have been made in terms of technology and equipment in the fields concerned, for this reason it is absolutely necessary for university students to have the opportunity to study from the early years of faculty in perfect laboratories to simulate the activity in the economic sectors – future employers. Our university has developed multiple partnerships with farmers, companies, factories, NGOs, who want to recruit graduates from the above mentioned faculties, but we are constantly being asked for a greater practical involvement of the students since the studies. The practical spaces currently offered by our institution are insufficient and many of them technically no longer correspond to the economic and technical realities. In conclusion, by achieving the general objective of the project we will come to meet the labour market with graduates trained according to the current economic demands. The project contributes to the achievement of specific objective 10.3 of Priority Axis 10 by increasing the relevance of tertiary university education in relation to the labour market and competitive economic sectors as it will create an appropriate educational infrastructure for the development of professional skills and capacity for socio-professional integration.
