Creation of Carei Recreative Center

Improving the quality of life in Carei Municipality by 40 % by developing leisure and leisure services and improving public safety by 2023. In addition to the need to solve socio-economic problems, sustainable development and the increase of living standards in small and medium-sized cities also depend on improving the recreational offer, offering quality leisure opportunities and improving the safety aspects of the population in the public space. The project aims to improve the quality of life of the population of Carei municipality by addressing two complementary solutions to problems identified by the Local Strategies. One of the problems faced by small and medium-sized cities in Romania and is also specific to Carei Municipality is that of the migration of young people to larger urban centers or outside the country, leaving behind an ageing population. The Migratory Sporum is negative in the municipality of Carei, according to the information of the Local Strategy. Moreover, at the level of the municipality there are marginalised areas, vulnerable groups and at risk of exclusion. The project aims at a complementary approach to the problems identified as priorities within the Local and National Strategies, by improving the recreational services in the municipality of Carei, on the one hand, but also increasing the degree of safety of citizens and reducing the level of crime within the city. A safer city gives its population confidence. Young people will be able to attend quietly the infrastructure created and parents will appreciate safety, unrestricted access and the facilities created will address an increased number of beneficiaries. The achievement of the objectives will be checked through evaluation questionnaires, interviews, statistics, etc. These two approaches will contribute to physical, social and economic revitalisation of the city, improvement of the quality of life in the Municipality of Carei and implicitly to the achievement of specific objective 13.1 of investment priority 9b.
