Building Social Housing in Carei

General objective: Increasing the quality of life in the Municipality of Carei by improving the housing space for people belonging to vulnerable groups by more than 35 % and improving the safety of citizens by 10 % of the Immunicipality of Carei. The project aims to improve the quality of life of the population of Carei municipality by addressing two complementary solutions to problems identified by the local strategies. The first problem is social and refers to housing conditions for vulnerable groups in Carei municipality, namely the housing stock that can be made available to people from vulnerable groups far from meeting real demand and needs. The second problem, in close connection with the first one, concerns the safety of the citizen. Identified as the risk zone, the southern area of Carei municipality requires interventions to ensure the improvement of safety through the reduction of risk factors. This aspect can be improved by expanding the video surveillance system in the identified area. Urban development sustainable development and the rise of living standards in small municipalities are also dependent on solving social problems and is an essential condition for sustainable, inclusive development. Also the safety of citizens is an important social service that the local public administration must provide to citizens. Thus, improving the housing conditions and increasing the housing stock allocated to vulnerable groups, while ensuring the safety of the inhabitants of the area, defined as the South risk area, will contribute to improving the quality of life in the Municipality of Carei and implicitly to the achievement of the specific objective 13.1 of the investment priority 9b. As a result of the implementation of the project will increase the attractiveness of the Municipality in general, and especially in terms of housing and safety.
