Integrated project “Improving the quality of life of the population of Negresti-Oas” The three components of the integrated documentation are grouped into two categories, as follows: For category A. Improvement of social, educational, cultural and recreational services: 1“Extension, modernisation and endowment of the Secondary School no.1 Negresti-Oas” 2. “Extension of body B, modernisation of the gym and endowment within secondary school no.3 in Negresti-Oas” For category B. Improvement of urban public spaces 3. “Modernisation of green spaces for the creation of a quality”green corridor“in the city of Negresti-Oas” All three components of the integrated project, together and separately, have the general objective in accordance with the specific objective 13.1. of the investment priority 9b, to improve the quality of life of the population in small and medium-sized cities, and addresses in an integrated way the deficiencies recorded at the urban level. The overall objective of the integrated investment shows an integration of the following sub-objectives: —ameliorating socio-economic problems -increasing the standard of living -improving the educational offer -improving the outdoor spending of time – improving the quality and aspect of urban public infrastructure The approach of the three components is made integrated, they simultaneously satisfy the sub-objectives and objectives specific to each component. The investment components are located along the city road, Victoriei Street, central area. All three investments are concentrated in the central area of the city in close proximity to marginalised community areas. Being in the immediate vicinity of marginalised community areas, the integrated project has a direct and significant impact on the inhabitants of this area. The physical distances between the three components are maximum 500 m, are easily accessible both non-motorised, walking/bicycle, and motorised. The investments of component 1 "Extension, modernisation and endowment of the Secondary School nr.1 Negresti-Oas" will directly ensure the improvement of the educational offer by creating additional spaces, namely the necessary facilities for carrying out the activities, energy savings and thus reducing CO2 emissions through the insulation of the tyre and the provision of efficient LED lighting fixtures, ensuring access and use of the objective by persons with disabilities by providing ramps, bathrooms and special lifts, and indirectly will ensure the increase of the standard of living and the improvement of socio-economic problems by providing modern and appropriate conditions to the educational system, contribute to promoting cycling, providing bicycle racks in the school yard for students or teachers who use this means of transport for moving to and from the objective Investments of component 2.”
