The general objective of the project is the development of the creative industries sector in the area of Odorheiu Secuiesc, through the establishment of a sectoral business incubator in the field of creative industries. The concept of “creative industry” includes several fields whose activity involves artistic or scientific creativity, among others traditional craftsmen. In short, creative industries aim at everything that is produced by artistic and scientific creativity and has industrial potential, i.e. enter the economic circuit, produce value, generate public revenues through paid taxes and taxes, create jobs and profits, help regional and national development. The new business incubator in Odorheiu Secuiesc will host and incub newly established companies that practice traditional crafts at a higher artistic level, which have a high added value. Through the general objective, the project contributes to the achievement of the general objective of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, to support the increase of economic competitiveness and the improvement of the living conditions of local and regional communities, as well as the specific objective of investment priority 2.1, to strengthen the market position of SMEs in competitive areas identified by the National Competitiveness Strategy and Regional Development Plans, taking into account the development of the business environment in the municipality of Odorheiu Secuiesc.
