The general objective of the project is to improve the quality and efficiency of the emergency hospital care provided within the Emergency Receiving Unit, the functional component of Alba Iulia County Emergency Hospital. The overall objective is linked to the specific objective of ROP 8.2. “Improving the quality and efficiency of hospital emergency care”. The investments that will be made by implementing this project will contribute to ensuring balanced territorial distribution of emergency medical services by taking over local and county patients who cannot be treated in an outpatient system, facilitating faster access of the population to these services that will be provided in quality conditions, corresponding to the requirements of the health system. The project “Enlargement and endowment of the Emergency Receiving Unit of Alba Iulia County Emergency Hospital” contributes to the achievement of General Objective 7 “Development of health infrastructure at national, regional and local level in order to reduce inequity in access to health services” of the National Health Strategy 2014-2020, because the project will provide the necessary financial resources for rehabilitation, modernisation, expansion and endowment of the emergency reception unit infrastructure of Alba Iulia County Emergency Hospital.
