General objective – setting up a school in Dudu, Chiajna commune in order to increase participation in early education and compulsory education as a result of improving access, quality and attractiveness of education. The level of education is a key factor in national development, as it largely determines economic activity and productivity as well as labour mobility, creating the long-term prerequisites for a higher standard of living and quality of life. Given negative demographic trends, the educational profile of the population is a prerequisite for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. However, this cannot be achieved without adequate infrastructure/suitable to educational cycles. Educational infrastructure is essential for education, early childhood development, social skills building and social integration capacity. The objective of Priority Axis 10.1 B is to ensure increased access, quality and attractiveness of education, contributing to increasing the participation rate at different levels of education, reducing early school leaving and leaving, at a higher rate of completion of compulsory education and increasing the transition rate towards higher levels of education, which will materialise through the project “Establishment of school infrastructure, in Chiajna commune, Ilfov County”, whose overall objective overlaps with investment priority. The main expected outcome is to achieve the conditions for quality education and to increase the participation of the population in pre-school, primary and secondary education. The building of the educational institution mentioned that is intended to be built will be the object of investments that constitute the specific objectives of the project.
