The operation concerns support, networking and publicity of the project creating open sea archaeological sites (EEAX) in Alonissos and Western Pagasitikos through the coordination and harmonisation of the individual actions of the project and the planning and implementation of the necessary actions for its integrated promotion. The purpose of the operation is to highlight the public maritime cultural heritage of the specific areas, to improve the attractiveness of resources, as well as to inform, raise awareness and knowledge of the archaeological importance of these sites by the general public. The development of diving tourism is important for the viability of the relatively undeveloped areas in which the operation is implemented.
