ACTIONS FOR ENERGY CONSERVATION OF ARGOSTOLI’S MUNICIPAL KOLYMBETIRI IN KEFALONIA

With the implementation of the interventions provided by the project, the Municipal Swimming Pool of Argostoli from the energy class E will be classified in B, which will result in energy savings and the reduction of the high energy cost of operation with immediate consequence and the protection of the environment by reducing the carbon dioxide emissions from the consumption of oil and electricity. More specifically, it is foreseen: A) Replacement of 40 filament lamps with compact fluorescent lamps of 9watt efficiency 60 lm/w.B) Installation of one heat pump or high temperature pump array (65 0C) with a total power of 100 Kw multi-stage (inverter) for heating the building and producing hot water, will be placed in the surrounding space outside the machinery space. Installation of an inertia container of 500 lt and connecting it to the heat pump and the main collector of the boiler. Construction of pipe networks with their insulation, as well as insulation of existing networks, construction and connection of electrical panel and construction of automation panel installation and connection.C) Use of two heat pumps or high-temperature pump array (65 0C) of total capacity of 300 Kw each one single level for heating the swimming pool, will be placed in the surrounding space outside the machinery space, connecting directly to the slabs of the water vat. The existing boiler will not be removed & will be used to start the system at the beginning of each period. It also includes the construction of insulation pipe networks as well as insulation of existing networks, installation and connection of electrical power panels, installation and connection of automation panels. D) Thermal insulation of its perimeter wall. E) Thermal insulation of an existing hot water storage (boiler) and insulation of parts of existing pipes. Rectification devices plus Φ for the total electrical power of the swimming pool.
