The National Research and Technology Network (EDET S.A.) in cooperation with the National Blood Donation Centre (EKEA) aims to substantially upgrade the organisation and electronisation of the National Blood Donation System. In this context, the aim of this project is the extension of the project "Central e-services Management of the National Registry of Volunteer Blood Donors"" funded by the OP "Digital Convergence 2007-13" (MS 453302), in such a way that the National Blood Donation System can effectively implement the European quality and traceability requirements (Directive 2005/61/EC and 2005/62/EC), as well as to improve the internal organisation and operation of the blood services through EC blood services. The main strategic objective is to improve the efficiency and efficiency of the National Blood Donation System, as well as to upgrade the quality of the services provided. It should be noted that the project is complementary to the project “Electronic Services for the National Blood Donation System”, with OPS code 5003947.The physical object of this project provides for the provision of a horizontal blood-dose information system for the management of blood and its derivatives, the management of transfusions, the support of haemovigilance and the management of hemotherapy.The project has a budget of EUR 2.200.000, starting on 03/06/2019 and the duration of implementation of the physical object.
