The Directorate-General for Financial Controls (DGC) and the Directorate-General for Controls of Co-financed Programmes (DGS) are audit authorities of the Ministry of Finance and their audit work is carried out through the Audit Coordination Committee (ESEL) for the DGC and the Financial Audit Committee (EDEL) for the DGCR. The audits that fall within the competence of the EDEL concern the proper and effective operation of the Management and Control System of the Operational Programmes for the Programmatic Periods 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. Similarly, the audits under the responsibility of ESA shall aim to examine the public bodies with regard to how their budget is managed, to investigate complaints, to carry out audits on administrative orders and to the control of legacy management and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).This project aims:- The establishment of an information system that will constitute the single management framework of all the Financial Controls and the Audit of the Communities. The project has a total budget of EUR 585,278,49, starting date 7/8/2017 and expiry date 3/3/2021.
