The object of the action is the dismantling, removal and safe management of asbestos materials from installations, building complexes – Divisions of the Hellenic Navy, as well as their replacement with other harmless materials. Also included is the dismantling and replacement of structural elements that do not contain asbestos, but it is necessary to dismantle in order to remove asbestos materials. The criterion for the selection of the installations to be carried out is the daily exposure time of personnel (military, civilian and military service) from residence or work in the areas concerned. In particular, the tasks to be implemented relate to:

b. Management operations (collection, packaging, marking, temporary storage and dispatch to an approved place for the disposal of hazardous materials in Greece or abroad) of the dismantled materials.
