The object of the operation is the dismantling, removal and safe management of asbestos materials from installations, building complexes – Directorates of the Hellenic Air Force, as well as their replacement with other harmless materials. Also included is the dismantling and replacement of structural elements that do not contain asbestos, but it is necessary to dismantle in order to remove asbestos materials. The criterion for the selection of the installations to be carried out is the daily exposure time of personnel (military, civilian and military service) from residence or work in the areas concerned. In particular, the tasks to be implemented relate to:
