The project concerns the upgrading of existing and the development of new integrated municipal electronic services in the Municipality of Thessaloniki and, in particular, the development of interaction systems between the Municipality and its citizens in the logic of the “Smart City”. With the development and productive operation of the planned Integrated Citizen Service Information System (UCS-EP), the Municipality of Thessaloniki will highlight new and “smart” electronic services, which will enable even more groups of citizens to be served faster, safer and actively participate in actions and initiatives in the context of participatory and open governance. The result of the project will be the installation of a “smart” platform of interaction of the citizen business with the services of the Municipality, aiming at the provision of integrated electronic services where the user will have the possibility of fully substituting the corresponding non-electronic service.
