The project concerns the creation of a structure entitled “Expanded Community Community of Elis with Roma Annex”. The Community Centre (CCC) serves all residents of the Municipality, with priority to vulnerable groups and the aim of disseminating information about services and social benefits to all citizens. In addition to the dissemination of information, the GOC provides social inclusion services. It is a structure that operates complementary, and does not replace or replace, the Municipality’s Social Service, but expands the range of social services provided to the citizens-benefits. In the Municipality of Elis the Roma Branch is an urgent need as within the boundaries of the Municipality there are three settlements – Roma settlements located in the areas of Center (Pnea), Papakafka and Tsichleikon. The total number of Roma people living in them is around 2,130. The residents of these settlements need targeted support due to both their living conditions and their social integration (work, education, etc.) but to date there is no body and a corresponding structure providing relevant services in the intervention area. At the Enlarged Community Centre of the Municipality of Elis with Roma Annex, the beneficiaries are received and recorded, with the aim of diagnosing their needs and promoting them in Services, Structures and Programs that exist at the current time and aiming at social support strengthening and integration (Employment Organisation for Labour Forces (OAED), National Health System (National Health System), Help at Home, etc.), at the same time in the Community Centre, welcome applications for the European Aid Fund (Employment Organisation), the support of the European Social Fund (HSS), the support of the ESF and the social assistance of the ESF.
