The project concerns the creation of a structure called Community Centre (EC) Municipality of Aigialeia. The KK serves all residents of the municipality, with priority to vulnerable groups and the aim of disseminating information about services and social benefits to all citizens. In addition to the dissemination of information, the GOC also provides social inclusion services. It is a structure that operates complementary, and does not replace or replace, the Municipality’s Social Service, but expands the range of social services provided to the citizens-benefits. Given the administrative and operational capacity of the Municipality of Aigialeia and the primary need for the implementation of social protection policies in modern adverse socio-economic conditions, the support of all citizens and especially those belonging to one or more vulnerable social groups and the development of a local reference point for the reception, service and interconnection of citizens with all Social Programmes and Services implemented in our area by all stakeholders, the implementation of the project titled “Centre Community of Aigialia” is extremely important. The Community Centre receives and registers the beneficiaries, with the aim of diagnosing their needs and promoting them in Services, Structures and Programs that exist at the current time and have as their object the social support empowerment and integration (Employment Organisation for Labour Resources (OAED), National Health System (NHS), Creative Employment Centre (KDAP), Home Help, Mental Health Centres, etc.). At the same time, the Community Centre receives applications for TEVA, the UEN and humanitarian aid.
