The Act entitled “Actions for the Occupational and Social Integration of vulnerable social groups in P.I.N.”, implemented by the Department of Lifelong Learning, Education and Employment of the Directorate of Public Health and Social Welfare of P.I.N., is a comprehensive intervention to improve the conditions of access to the labour market of people who are severely affected by the economic crisis (long-term unemployed, unemployed women, population in poverty conditions) as well as socially vulnerable groups. In particular, the actions combine the provision of advisory services (5 counseling sessions) by consultants, participation in a programme of targeted vocational training & traineeships in enterprises, lasting 300 hours, as well as certification of acquired knowledge and skills.The Act is aimed at 650 unemployed people in the Region of Ionian Islands, especially young unemployed (15-29 years old) and longterm unemployed (29-55 years old). Upon completion of the participation of the beneficiaries in the actions, they will receive an educational allowance of EUR 5 (mixed) per hour of training.
