The object of the project concerns the construction of two new railway bridges (one on the climb line and one on the descent line) in the Platy-Thessaloniki section (TX1), which are planned to replace existing metal bridges.The project is part of the wider effort to modernise and upgrade the railway axis of Patras of Thessaloniki Idomeni/Promachona (PATHEP/P).The project ensures conditions for increasing speeds above 100 km/h.
