“Function of structures and services of the public administration for the benefit of women and to combat violence Operation of advisory support centres for women victims of violence at regional level” (Kozani Advisory Centre)

The project concerns the continued operation and upgrading of the Regional Advisory Centres, in particular the Advisory Centre of Kozani, with the aim of preventing and combating gender violence and/or multiple discrimination against women. The Consultative Centre is part of the nationwide network of supporting structures (Advisory Centres, Hosting Hostels and SOS 15900 Telephone Line) and operates in addition to the project: ‘Horizontal interventions of national scope’ to prevent and combat violence against women. The aim of the project is to provide psychosocial and legal support actions to women victims of violence and/or multiple discrimination (e.g. migrant women, refugees, single-parents, disabled, unemployed, etc.), while implementing the development of promotion actions in employment, as well as the development of networking activities with the local community, as well as information and awareness interventions to prevent and combat violence and/or multiple discrimination against women.
