The Municipality of Kavala in cooperation with the Chamber of Kavala and the support of the Commercial Association of Kavala and above all the agreement of much of the commercial and not only businesses of the historic center of Agios Nikolaos in the city of Kavala, proceeds to the creation of a structure Open Trade Centre. The aim of the Act is to create a strong, competitive and viable retail center, so that the city and the region are served in a way that will enhance the vitality, sustainability and attractiveness of the historic center of Kavala.

The Act concerns the implementation of targeted interventions to upgrade the functionality and aesthetic part of the historic centre, as well as interventions in the activity that develops within this area.

More detailed interventions with a 36-month horizon will move on two (2) key axes:

A) categories of actions implemented by the Municipality:

“Upgrading the Public Space” of the historical centre of Kavala.

“Suppply and installation of smart city systems” which in turn include the placement of wireless access points, information signs and remote lighting management, as well as smart parking system Hott;/span>Location and Promotionality’s location and branding.
