The project concerns the provision of services to 36 beneficiaries from the Mixed Center for Day and Day Care (KEDIV) of the Civil Non-Profit Society “Social Support Center”, based in Kilkis. The project aims to strengthen social cohesion, improve the quality of life of disabled people in need of services (providing treatments, psychological support, social worker, nursing service, etc.) and other supporting actions (creative employment workshops, alternative therapies, social inclusion actions, etc.), as well as their stabilisation as equal members in the events of their local community. At the same time, the implementation of the project aims to relieve congestion of the near environment of disabled people during the day and its equal participation in a society of equal opportunities is reinforced either by integrating it into active human resources or by the qualitative – choice – utilisation of leisure time.
