The Centre for the Rehabilitation of Social Support and Creative Employment for Persons with Disabilities (The Savior) in Thessaloniki is a non-profit provider providing social services to people with disabilities. It operates 2 Creative Employment Centres for Children with Disabilities (KDAP withA), 3 Daycare Centers for People with Disabilities (KDIF Disabled) with a total capacity of 172 people, as well as 2 Roofs for Supported Living capacity of 8 people. In addition, it has been licensed as a Center for Lifelong Learning. This project concerns the support for the operation, for 3 years, of the “Savior 3” KTIF in order to provide day care and maintenance services to 25 people with disabilities, 12 months a year, five days weekly (Monday Friday) on its first shift, from 7:00 to 15:00, including transport of beneficiaries from and to the structure. Beneficiaries will be people with motor or sensory or mental or multiple or different kinds of disabilities. In the context of the implementation of the project, the following services will be provided: 1. Transfer of beneficiaries to and from the Centre by private means of transport of the operator. 2. Accommodation and nutrition of the beneficiaries. 3. Programs of support services and treatments of special education, based on an individualised program of each beneficiary. 4. Provision of individual and group exercise. 5. Self-service and learning activities of everyday life. 6. Creative employment and socialisation programmes. 7. Entertainment, culture and sports programs. In addition, the organisation, as part of the project, has designed vocational education and training programmes for the beneficiaries. These are certified programmes by the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPP) that will be implemented by the KDIF Disabled “The Sotiras 3” in collaboration with the Centre for Lifelong Learning, aiming to make the beneficiaries self-reliant and productive, in order to have the ability and skills to integrate into the labour market, combating discrimination and promoting equal opportunities.
