The Monastery of Panmegisto Taxiarches Tsoukas is located on a steep riverside of Aliakmonas, in the wider area of the Municipality of Nestorio, the Prefecture of Kastoria. The foundation of the monastery of Taxiarches was associated with the Byzantine era and more specifically with the 13rd century. From the architectural ensemble there are today two churches, the Taxiarches, on the lower level and the Zoodochos Pigi, about fifteen meters higher, as well as a one-room trolley building (possibly a bank), between the two temples. All three buildings are not in good condition, while the existing communication between them (path – path) is not easy. With the attached study, it provides for the complete restoration and promotion of the three monuments, the restoration of all the paved sections, as well as the construction of new cobblestones (where there are none) and stairs, in order to allow smooth access to all areas of the area. On the way and above the middle tower building hangs a large rock, for which a study of its fixation must be carried out in order to make both the passage and the staticity of the monument safe. Also included in the project – photographic and design documentation, information signs, marking and publicity of the project and information signs.
