The object of the overall project is the improvement of part of the National Road of Lamia-Karpenisi in the Prefecture of Fthiotida from the exit of Kastrio to the Makrakomi exit. The total length of the interventions is about 9.6 km, of which about 3.1 km are for widening the existing road and about 6.5 km are for new mapping. In the final configured section 2+ 1 lanes will be implemented per direction, width 3,50 m each, with a central “island” with a metal safety parapet.The project started to be implemented in the NSRF 2007-2013 (Phase A) and is completed in the NSRF 2014-2020 (Phase B) as “phasing project”. Phase B, which is the subject of this project, includes the work carried out from 01-01-2014 until the completion and release of the entire project.
