The project aims at the energy upgrading of the University General Hospital of Larissa, by integrating energy saving measures and energy production using high efficiency cogeneration systems (CHTHYA) and the utilisation of Renewable Energy Sources (RES).After the implementation of the project, the Hospital, with a useful surface area of 66.270 m², will be upgraded from the category D of the Regulation of Energy Efficiency of Buildings (ENC) in the first instance of the operation. At the same time, the reduction of emissions resulting from the implementation of the energy upgrading plan is estimated at 9,585 tonnes of CO2/year.
