The project concerns the recording and digitisation of tourist routes related to Samian wine and the implementation of a series of digital applications for its browsing and promotion, as well as a virtual museum of wine online. The aim of the project is to address the visitor of the area, providing them through digital applications a different traveling wine experience and the opportunity to acquire valuable knowledge about Samos’ winemaking production through interaction and play. In particular, the implementation of the project shall aim at: The exploitation of Samos’ comparative advantages in terms of its cultural heritage, natural resources and historical significance. Strengthening the positive image of the local tourism product. Attracting more visitors by promoting thematic tourist routes. The increase in tourist flow in areas that traditionally do not have much traffic.
