The project includes a set of actions to promote and advertise the tourist product of Crete in order to further enhance the destination in the global and domestic tourism market, as a multidimensional competitive tourist destination of 4 seasons with particular emphasis on alternative forms of tourism. This objective is set in the context of sustainable development which respects the natural and man-made environment, while achieving the maximisation of the benefits it offers to the national economy, the community and the protection of the environment.
