The project concerns the adoption of energy-saving interventions and the use of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) in order to upgrade the open municipal swimming pool of the Municipality of Pavlos Melas.With the planned interventions, the electric consumption of the swimming pool will be replaced by 82.6 % and the thermals at 33 %. As a result, it is possible to extend the operation of the swimming pool to annually.The project achieves the reduction of the electricity consumed for lighting, as the existing headlamps, lamps and lamps indoors and outdoors with LED technology lamps will be replaced. In addition, the installation of an energy management system (BEMS) will give space users the ability not only to monitor electrical and thermal consumption but also to control them. At the same time, the project will contribute to a cleaner environment and improve the quality of life of the residents of the Municipality.
