SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF A FAST WATER SUPPLY NETWORK

The project concerns the modernisation by the Municipal Water Supply Company of Lesvos of all electromechanical installations of drilling, propulsion systems and tanks, which are not included in the existing telemetry network, in order to implement the leak control, Telecontrol and their automation. The objective of the DEAA Lesvos network is to create an integrated water control system that will become an integrated water control system. Through the installation of appropriate electromechanical equipment and customised system software, information will be collected and processed from all water installations, which will inform the system for: Identification of possible leakages (black and non-leash). Immediate availability of human resources and equipment to coordinate work to deal with damages; quantification of water reserves; actual water balance values; actual water consumption. The quality of the drinking water provided.Through the implementation of the project, DEYA of Lesvos seeks to improve its services to consumers. The water problems that have existed so far will be addressed with the aim of: To ensure the quantities of water which are capable of meeting a reasonable level of consumption at any time; the uninterrupted supply of water, satisfying the quality standards laid down in the Directive, with a distribution network and under the necessary pressure to supply the highest level of consumption in the TEAA’s area of activity. The installation of 5 new measuring instruments at the exits of 2 main reservoirs in the city of Mytilene, where, in combination with the existing measuring instruments and the new and upgraded Cherp and CSEIs of the city of Mytilene, all the produced and supplied water to consumption will be recorded and the leaks will be detected (visible leaks into the pipelines, malfunctioning consumer hydrometers and illegal connections). The telecommunication system will be implemented in such a way as to ensure maximum reliability of information exchange between the Local Control Stations of the Water Supply Networks, the Portable Control Station, with the Central Control Station at the offices of DEYA Lesvos in Mytilene.
