The natural object of the project includes the regeneration of the urban open space of Dassilion in the city of Igoumenitsa, in order to emerge and become a recreation area that meets the modern social, functional and environmental needs of our city. The study aims to improve the functionality of the urban forest and its rational management through the creation of walking routes, recreation areas and generally functionally sound and environmentally sustainable and elegant areas. The interventions aim at the development and proper configuration of the open space so that it can be used for the recreation of the residents of the city and the wider area as well as will contribute to the connection of the Venetian Castle with the urban environment and the attraction of tourist traffic in the city of Igoumenitsa. The implementation time of the project is 12 months.
