The project concerns the modernisation of all the E/M facilities of the Amfissa Refinery, the automation of its operation, the increase of the supply capacity through a refinery, the monitoring of the basic parameters for the operation requirements of the Refinery and the main nodes of the external aqueduct of the Refinery. The aim is to control, visualise and automate them. The communication system that will be organised will consist of the Central Control Station (CSE), 3 Regional Stations (PAIs) and 2 Local Control Stations (TSE), which will be installed in, 3 pump rooms and 2 Distribution Wells. The prices collected by the MAIs and TSEs will be transferred to the Central Control Station (CPO), via wireless communication via GPRS that will be available at the Control Stations. The telecommunication system will be implemented in such a way as to ensure maximum reliability of exchange of information between CSE and MAI of the Water Supply Networks, the Portable Control Station with the DSE at the offices of the Water Refinery. The DPE will be able to receive future data from other stations that may be selected for monitoring and will be the basis for DEFA DELFON to have full control of its Aqueduct. In this way the services to the Citizens are upgraded and improved while at the same time significant amounts of water are saved to satisfy the increased consumption of the served areas.
