The establishment of a Climate Change Office in the Municipality of Piraeus has as its primary objective to contribute to the prevention and response of the risks arising from climate change. The significant uncertainty associated with climate change and its impact, the flooding with new information and developments and the ever-revised views on the appropriate way to promote adaptation necessitate the establishment of a special Climate Change Office.
