Implementation of measures of the River Basin Management Plan (RBMP) Water Department of the Aegean Islands, related to the implementation of Community bathing water directives in the North Aegean Region
The project concerns the monitoring of water quality on selected bathing beaches. The aim of the project is to certify and maintain the excellent quality of bathing waters of the islands of the North Aegean. The bathing beaches included in the programme and the results of the monitoring are posted at http://www.bathingwaterprofiles.gr. The information to the public includes the installation of signs on the coast.
