The project concerns the implementation of the Action ‘House Saving II’ in order to improve the energy efficiency of homes that have proven low energy efficiency and belong to low-income owners. In the context of the Action provides for the payment of aid, which will concern either the direct grant of the beneficiary, or payment of a grant in combination with an interest-free or low-interest loan. The eligible costs relate, inter alia, to operations for insulation, replacement of frames, shading systems, upgrading of heating systems, etc., as well as cost coverage for energy inspections, technical advisor and studies required. In order to achieve the energy upgrade of housing, a specific energy target is set, which is ensured by conducting energy inspections by an Energy Inspector before and after the implementation of the interventions. The Action contributes to the savings of energy resources and costs, while at the same time it has a social character as it supports the owners with low incomes.
