The purpose of this project is the preparation of the final phase of studies required for the construction of the new single railway line project connecting from the west the 6th pier (Container Station) of the commercial port of Thessaloniki with the existing single railway line of Thessaloniki Idomeni, which connects Thessaloniki’s Discussion Station with the Commercial Station of Thessaloniki (also known as “Palaios Station”) and through it the Thessaloniki Railway Station.
