This project concerns:1. The update and integration of recent data of the "Cost Feasibility and Benefit Study of the Athens Patras Railway Association", aiming at submitting a Financing Application to the European Commission of the major project of the Operational Programme "Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainable Development" (HP-YMEPERA 2014-2020) "Construction of the new Railway Line in Athens. In the preparation of a study on the adaptation of the major project to climate change, the definition and calculation of mitigation/compensation measures for negative environmental impacts, vulnerability analysis and risk assessment, the definition of the project’s contribution to environmental policy objectives, etc., in order to complete the corresponding sections of the Large Project application.3. In the elaboration of the Environmental Terms Modification File, including a Special Ecological Evaluation (EOA) of the NATURA 2000 area in the section of the new double railway line in the area of Panagopoula to assess the potential impact of the project on the ecological integrity of the NATURA 2000 area and the preparation of documentation for the project “Construction of a new double railway line in the section Rododafni – Psathopyrgos for the construction of the area’s area”.
