The project concerns the continuation of the operation and upgrading of Hospitality Hostels, in particular the Hosting House for Women victims of violence and their children in the Municipality of Ioannites with the aim of preventing and combating gender violence against women. The Hospitality Hostel is part of the nationwide network of supporting structures (Advisory Centres, Hosting Hostels and SOS 15900 Telephone Line) and is complementary to the project: ‘Horizontal interventions of national scope’ to prevent and combat violence against women. The aim of the project is to provide women and their children with hospitality, safety, psychological and social support from specialised scientific staff, as well as support for their integration into the labour market when required. It also facilitates access to legal counselling by referral to the Advisory Centres.
