The project provides for the creation of a structure – Community Centre – in the Municipality of Igoumenitsa, which serves all residents of the municipality, with priority to vulnerable groups, with the aim of disseminating information about services and social benefits to all citizens. In addition to disseminating information, the GOC also provide social inclusion services. They are structures that function complementary, and do not replace or replace the Social Services of Municipalities, but broaden the range of social services provided to the citizens-benefits. The Community Centres receive and register the beneficiaries, with the aim of diagnosing their needs and promoting them in Services, Structures and Programs that exist at the current time and have as their object the social support empowerment and integration (Employment Organisation for Labour Resources (OAED), National Health System (NHS), Creative Employment Centre (KDAP), Home Help, Mental Health Centres, etc.). At the same time, the Community Centre receives applications for the European Aid Fund for the Most Deprived (TEVA), the Minimum Guaranteed Income for Humanitarian Aid.
