The aim of the project is the creation of a Mobile Unit (MM) with the main objective of providing primary support services and short-term intervention to individuals who use-abuse drugs and reside in the province of Fthiotida and the neighbouring Prefectures of the Region of Central Greece. It excludes the city of Lamia, where the launch of a Multipurpose Center for Drugs is planned. The Member State will make interventions of the following types: Planned information and counselling interventions in non-urban areas. Information actions aimed at the population of addicts and the general public (talks, information booths, street work). The KM in Lamia will work as a complement to meeting the needs of the already existing unit of the Center for the Treatment of Dependants (KETHEA Exodus) which provides to a limited extent, due to lack of infrastructure and human resources: A. Cooperation and joint action with other specialised bodies (psychic and physical health and welfare). b. Actions of information, awareness raising, mobilisation of the local community. c. Updates to organisations and bodies dealing with refugee and vulnerable social groups. d. Information in schools, camps etc.
