The project includes the creation of a Structure – Community Centre (CCC) with a CEM Annex – in the Municipality of Thebes, which serves all residents of the municipality, with priority to vulnerable groups – with the aim of disseminating information about services and social benefits to all citizens. In addition to disseminating information, the Community Centre also provides social inclusion services. It is a structure that operates complementary and does not replace or replace the Social Service of the Municipality, but expands the range of social services provided to the citizens-benefits. The Community Centre receives and registers the beneficiaries, with the aim of diagnosing their needs and promoting them in Services, Structures and Programs that exist at the current time and have as their object the social support empowerment and integration (OEAED, NESY, KDAP, Home Help, Mental Health Centres, etc.). At the same time, the Community Centre receives applications for TEVA, the UEN and humanitarian aid. In addition, the Community Centre through the CEM Annex will serve areas with a high concentration of migrants and beneficiaries of international protection. In this case, the Community Centre will provide specialised services depending on the target group, with a view to implementing a wide range of local integration actions, focusing on employment, education, health, protection and welfare, social security and intercultural mediation/interpretation.
