The project refers to the funding for the operation of the Social Grocery Structure in the Municipality of Delphi for three years. The Structure will collect, store, distribute basic living goods.Provides to at least 371 families of the Municipality of Delphi who are in poverty or are threatened by poverty, constantly at regular intervals foods and groceries packaged, personal hygiene items, frozen products, clothing and footwear, household equipment, toys etc., entertainment items. The goods are collected from sponsorships/donations of enterprises, collective bodies and citizens (Graph. Publicity/Networking), from any excess items of the TEVA programme and from commissions at the cost of the structure. The structure is used in TEVA’s distribution of goods. The structure of the social grocery is to operate in the privately owned surface area of 173 sq.m. located in one of the most central parts of the city of Amfissa and easily accessible. It will be staffed by 1 Social Officer and 1 person auxiliaries and will be supervised by the Social Service of the Municipality.
