The Municipality of Florina, in cooperation with the Chamber of Florina and the assent participation of 172 companies, proceeds to the creation of a structure Open Trade Centre. The aim of the Act is to create a strong, competitive and viable retail center, so that the city and the region are served in a way that will enhance the vitality, sustainability and attractiveness of the centre.
lt;p>The Act concerns the implementation of targeted interventions to upgrade the functionality and aesthetic part of the commercial area of the city of Florina, as well as interventions in the organisation of the economic activity developed within.
The Municipality of Florina technically undertakes the reform of the roads of the intervention area (reconstruction of pavements, supply of modern urban equipment, living rooms, lamps, trash cans, green elements)
In addition it undertakes the supply and installation of systems " smart city and sustainable mobility":
- providing wireless internet access (free wifi),
- Smart Street Lighting Management,
- Telecommanding public infrastructure and networks (smart city platform),
- “Smart” parking in parking spaces.
