The project concerns the aesthetic and functional upgrading of the commercial-historical centre of the city of Messolonghi and the facilitation of accessibility to it based on the principles of sustainable mobility. This intervention is necessary both in order to solve chronic problems of the region, and because it can be a factor of tourist dynamics and traffic in the area supported by the upgrading of transport routes and infrastructures (e.g. Ionia road), the wider tourist infrastructure and the promotion of the great potential.
