The creation of the Múcleo Museológico da Olaria de Melides is a project of development and valorisation of the municipality of Grândola, anchored in the defense, preservation and dissemination of the cultural heritage and identity of the territory. The aim is to rehabilitate and qualify a Municipal Interest Monument, giving it the dignity and appropriate conditions to consolidate and extend the tourism offer of the territory and the region.
